Focus on a single parameter

By far the biggest problem for accurate loudspeakers for the home (accurate in the sense of direct sound which is unambiguous - indirect sound is a different matter) is the market which is negligible in size compared to that for loudspeakers that are attractive for audiophile reasons.

to the exclusion of other equally valid parameters simply states a single point of view. Flat response alone is not the entire objective for speaker performance. If such a simplistic notion were true, you could buy virtually any POS speaker and simply equalize it to be *perfect*.
