What Is The Biggest Problem With Speakers Today?

It seems that the one thing everyone agrees on here in PHP is that speakers have a unique sound of their own. Obviously if speakers have a unique "sound" that means that every speaker is coloring and distorting the signals feed to them to a greater or lesser degree. With that idea in mind I'm curious what other AA members think is the greatest problem with speakers today. By that I mean which one problem --- once solved --- will make the most dramatic improvement with how speakers sound?

Is the greatest problem limited frequency response? Perhaps you think it's frequency deviations + or - XdB from flat? Could it be the mis-matched dispersion characteristics of the different drivers used? Maybe it's driver & cabinet interactions? Is it speaker & room interactions? Do you think it's crossover problems? Or is it possible you believe a speakers greatest problem is something else?

I know what I believe the greatest problem with speakers is, but I'd like to hear what others think about this topic, before I give my opinion. This is the one topic I could think of that I believe won't boil down to being an objectivist vs subjectivist debate.

So what's your opinion?
