Terrible! My very rough order of magnitude calculations show that a 0.2 db falloff at 20 khz is the equivalent of about a ten degree phase shift which translates to 1.4 microseconds. This falloff was about the spread of the reported experimental result in Audioholics some time ago. Some were even worse. How does this compare to the time delays you got? I'll take your word for it that it's audible
BTW, look at the falloff of tweeters as you move off axis. Even the best of them are atrocious. How does that affect phase shift and imaging and how does it compare to the time delay shift due to the speaker wire.
