Technical and scientific discussion of amps, cables and other topics.

Yes, I Do. You Just Won't Accept The Proof!

Pat you are LYING again. When you claim: "(I) offer no proof that differences between 3 foot interconnects at line level or 10 foot speaker cables of reasonable gauge are ordinarily audible with equipment that is functioning properly..." That is a LIE!

I've told you over & over the differences in wires is caused by the dielectric used and it's impedance to the expansion & collapsing of the magnetic field that's created when AC/music is applied to the wire. This is equal or perhaps more important than even LCR! So PLEASE don't LIE and say I offer no proof.

You ceratinly don't have to believe or accept the proof I've offered (even though it's measurable & verifiable) but to say I didn't offer any proof is LYING Pat!

When you claim that "...an oscillating amp would not be functioning properly." I suppose in essence that's a true statement. However if the oscillations were caused by using a wire with too high capacitance (which is what I said) I would lay the blame on the wire, not the amp. Hence the amp would be functioning properly "if" the wires were exchanged. Your example is like putting water instead of gas into a car and then claiming the car doesn't work properly. The car would work fine if you used the proper fuel. Just like the amp would work properly if you used the proper wires.

Talking to you is useless...

1) You ignore entire points I present (dieletrics & magnetic fields)
2) You play word games i.e. "I didn't say ALL wires, however what I said applies to 99.999999999999999% of them etc.
3) You LIE and here's proof above you claim, You state I don't present proof when I did. As I said before you might not agree with it, you might not accept it, but I provided it and saying I didn't is a LIE.

You don't debate, you play games, question my reading comprehension etc. Anything but debate what might actually prove what I said is true and that is, dielectrics and their impedance to the expansion & collapsing of the magnetic field that's created when AC/music is applied to the wire, is critical to how a wires "sounds" maybe even as much or more so than LCR! So open you eyes if not your ears.
