Technical and scientific discussion of amps, cables and other topics.

Now I know where you come from.

Hi.

Let me tell you about my little self: I am 16 years in power engineering business heavily involved in the application of wires & cables in my turnkey projects.

Do I know all those big boy cables mills? You bet. A question for you:
Why Romex is a household name?

I talk to Belden engineering dept guys from time to time re my projects. You think they know all? I doubt.

Don't you know when you talk to those cable mills on audio specialty cables, you were like talking to a sales guy in Best Buy, or the like Tv retail outlet, on a $4,000 Thorens turntable? What do they know about audio specialties?

FYI, I am an approved supplier of instrumentation cables for Boeing & the like aircrafts via a international major aircraft builder here. I custom design, supply & commission the specialty cables for such
safty-come-first high temp low-capacitance control cables.

You think big boys like Belden can make them? They might ONLY for ten million feet a shot. But I can supply my aircraft clients in only a few thousand feet atime. I charge them a fortune but I guaramtee their performance & very prompt leadtime to meet their tight schedules.

You now realize how I beat those big boy cable mills.

Likewise for audio wires & cables, this market is a total different ballgame from those day-in-day-out industrial craps you can order in tons from those cable mills you know & I know.

I have been in this electrical business long enough to differentiate
quality audio cables from those Romex craps one can pick up in Home Depots.

My point to make is: we are talking about the performance cars like
Bosch, not a Toyota. Both are cars, correct?
