The point about live unamplified music is that there is NO system.
No system involved, crappy or otherwise. No microphones. No cables. No equalizers. No mixing consoles. No amplifiers. No speakers. Acoustic music played back on a crappy system could very well sound crappy. I've heard a pair of Altec A-7s driven by a Crown amp that sounded screechy and honky playing anything.
I'm still not sure what you are expecting me to substantiate.
Your original presumption that supports the *myth*. To wit:
