That's just not true - if I said something similar you are taking it way out of context. I've heard live acoustic music, piano, guitar and oboe specifically, played by professionals and semi-professionals on dozens if not hundred of occasions.

Not only that I've attended dozens of live orchestra and band events over the years - ie. raising 3 children each of whom was (by family rule) required to participate in either a band or orchestra through high school.

And in the last 5 years I've attended more than 2 dozen shows featuring an orchestra.

As Tony pointed out live amplified concerts are not really "live" once the sound has passed through a huge chain of electronics and out of some PA speakers.

LOL! You two keep telling yourselves that if you insist - it's still a live concert.
