Technical and scientific discussion of amps, cables and other topics.

This is so simple I really can't believe we are having this discussion.

"No, whether you like something or not has little to do with the recording quality (although that is not true for everyone I can tell you from knowing some people who are like that) but the SOUND quality has a lot to do with the recording quality (also the room of the performance and post recording processing). Over and over you confuse your feelings about what you like to listen to with how the recordings sound."

LOL! Again I don't deny what sounds good to me is subjective and mine - I'm not confused. And what sounds good to me often is unrelated to recording quality.

The problem isn't my confusion it is your lack of understanding and comprehension. Surely things would be much easier for me if I accepted this myth but there's no way I'd enjoy listening to records as much as I do.

Depending on the music, recording quality has varying degrees of importance. However it is never as important as what is being recorded or the playback system when it comes to determining what sounds good.

This is so simple it's absurb we'ld even be having this conversation.
