Beauty of music and fidelity are not the same thing. You can have one, the other, or both. But they're not the same.

You don't need fidelity to enjoy beautiful music, but for me it surely enhances the experience. I believe that fidelity is not just about the playback system and listening room, but starts much sooner than that: when the microphones are placed on the soundstage and the recording process begins.
