Technical and scientific discussion of amps, cables and other topics.

This is politics, not science.

"There are two ways to view the uncertainties of climate models. One is to recognize the sheer complexity of the situation and the limitations of measurement and computation resources. The other is to take numbers out of context and use them to build straw-man arguments in support of denialist propaganda."

There you have it. A complex situation, limited measurements, and limited computation resources, but we are "deniers" because we don't believe a bunch of propaganda spread by those who are getting funding because of the fear, uncertainty and doubt they have been spreading. This is politics, not science.

As to the data, it set off my BS alert. Presenting data in terms of percentages instead of absolute units will do this, as it is one of the known ways of obfuscation. If the data does show anything, however, it shows that CO2 is a very minor greenhouse gas, a point the "deniers" have been making all along.

While I doubt that you will find Richard S. Lindzen's recent talk interesting, some of the "deniers" who frequent this forum may find it interesting in case they haven't come across it.
