Depending on the metal mold material which is being cut the argument remains essentially unchanged. Although 16 bit gets a bit closer to being as good by my numbers since most metals are ranging from around 125-175pm in diameter there is still this unexplained inconsistency in the original argument. IOW 762pm > 175pm.
