Based upon experience, logic
What experience and logic? You said "They are..."
and comments from AA members that are Flemming valve users.
I can't think of a worse way to ascertain data related to soundwaves...or a better way to investigate psychogenic activity.
The thing of it is different technologies and topologies have their own sets of strengths and weaknesses
Yes. Solid state, digital, etc. are great at transparent signal transmission to be turned into soudwaves and tubes, analog, etc. are great for weak minds psychogenic activity and signal flavoring.
Do you have some problem with Pioneer receivers?
No, I'm in good mental health.
(Actually use almost the exact model as Earl in my loft's HT.)
Why I understand that some nutters even make their own speakers...
I don't know why anyone with the mental competence to do so, who is actually serious about sound reproduction as close to live as possible (not just mindlessly parroting when their system is the complete opposite), wouldn't also. If the room and loudspeaker system is treated as one, how is a manufacturer going to produce a better system for your room (unless active correction is involved)?
cheers,
AJ
Funny thing, in Audiophile circles if you can hear things others cannot, you are revered, in society, you are sent for treatment.
