You claim exceptional hearing skills and sometimes claim to do tests but you never test your claims

A "test" does not consist of hiding the brand names, then writing down whatever you want to say about a component, and later comparing your notes with friends notes to see if any statements happen to be similar.

That's how you described your so-called "tests".

That may be YOUR idea of a test to verify your hearing ability claims, which appear well above any audiophile in a real blind test, but that's MY idea of self-serving data mining.

Taking a test may not be fun if the test results could contradict years of claiming exceptional hearing abilities, so I can understand why you avoid real tests that would demonstrate your actual (vs. claimed) listening skills.

Interesting that you will spend SO MUCH time pontificating here ... and not even devote about one hour of your life to do a wire-swap single-blind interconnect test where you TRY TO IDENTIFY WHICH WIRE IS IN USE DURING 16 TRIALS (that would be A REAL TEST -- not the uusual taking notes and comparing notes data mining parlor trick BS "test" methodology you seem to prefer!)

I have no pre-conceived notions or beliefs about audio -- I just report three decades of news that audiophiles often can't hear A-B differences among electronics and especially wires when brand names are hidden and SPL's matched, compared to how well they claim they can hear (just about always claim they hear differences).
