If it's the CD, it's impossible to add THD above 11 kHz..... The digital filtering/frequency limit removes all harmonics for fundamental frequencies at and above that point (including harmonic distortion).....
In regard to hearing a difference in recorded THD levels, you'd likely notice it playing the vinyl version of the recording.
