Did you ever ask yourself if a DBT is an effective tool for audibility tests, or did you just blindly accept the idea? The "facts" you have on auto-type-repeat, if they are true, would cause many to question if something is wrong with teh testing.
Would a real scientist ever use a measuring device that could never be calibrated? Or one that was in constant and unpredictable change? Didn't think so....
