Another pharmacist's perspective...

...the results in audio DBTs change with the amount of training of the participants.

That never happens in clinical drug trials.

Two questions arise:

1. Are audio DBTs testing the participant's training and test taking abilities or the actual audibility of differences between components.

2. Are they actually scientifically valid for this purpose?

If so, what is their sensitivity for various types of audible differences. Are they more or less sensitive than sighted ABAB tests for the same differences?
