Looks like you didn't read the article at all.

I think using a computer model is a bit problematic but the findings are still interesting. I think it supports the notion that transparency from component to component may not actually be the ideal in stereo recording and playback. that has been my personal position for quite some time. that is a tough pill for some objecvtivists to swallow since it means listening instead of just measuring. I think it is a tough pill for some subjectivists to swallow too since it suggests that what they thought was greater accuracy was in fact, in some cases, euphonic distortion.
