I learned of thermoelectric conversion in sophmore year under JJ Loferski.
And, by sophomore year, I learned that it is very important to read a question slowly, and understand what is being said, and what is being asked..You can continue to rant about "sophomoric" questions, and continue to talk about how my question is nitpicking, or heckling.. I have been told by several that that is how you deflect questions you are unable to understand..And, you have not demonstrated that those observations of your behavior are inaccurate...

It would be "sophomoric" for you to ignore it...It IS "sophomoric" for you to not have attempted correlation between cable construction and materials vs. cable measurements...That would have been step two for any competent engineer or scientist..

I have central air..The air temperature in my condo will fluctuate 3 to 5 degrees C as a result of the constant cycling..For metal film resistors, that would represent a 150 ppm minimum resistance change, up to a maximum of 500 ppm, based on specs alone..
-120dB is 1 ppm...The summation/cancelation circuit I need to eliminate the fundamental to 1ppm is not possible if I cannot keep the resistor ratios to that tolerance..So, for my environment, I could not possibly null out the fundamental and have it not drift..
And I wonder how your equipment would handle that type of thermal drift, given that you have stated the unit indeed uses metal films..
Now, for the question you REALLY SHOULD HAVE PAID ATTENTION TO...
