No, but don't discount the power of a review in a cult marketplace like high end. How many reviews have killed perfectly good products in the high end - especially when the audibility of the product is marginal is any way. Nio big deal for a cable designer, they just change the name and color and go with a clockwise insead of counterclockwise twist, but an amplifier of loudspeaker designer invests 6 figures in the development and production of the product, it tests well, and in the old days he'd go out and use his dealer network or his distributors dealer network to go out and sell his product. But now the number of dealers and distributors are dwindling and they don't want to carry a new product line unless there is some kind of pent-up demand - which can be created or destroyed with an positive or negative review! It's almost like Theater on Broadway!
