Of course, Ted. I find that we can hear things in 'open' tests that remain with us over time, and with the experiences of others, listening in separate circumstances. When we go to 'closed' tests, we seem to 'lose' our ability to hear significant differences in most cases. This does not help me to learn what is really important, because if this were true, why bother with this website or any subtle improvements in an audio system?
