Only a bachelor's degree. And not in computer science."we should try to disover how something can measure poorly and sound great. "
When I suggested this a year or two ago to a famous amplifier designer who posts at the Asylum and freely admits he can't find any correlation between what he measures and how his equipment sounds to him, he ignored me and went back to his tinkering which he fantasizes is actually research. Apparantly he can afford to, he still makes a living out of his lucky hits.
