I NEVER Said All Measurements Are Useless....

What I specifically said was: ...we cannot determine how people will perceive the "sound" quality of an audio component to be, based on the component's measurements!

Most people who aren't extremist Objectivists will readily admit that the amp that measures better doesn't always sound better. Fact is many a time the amp that measures the best, sounds the worst while the amp the measures the worst, sounds the best! Thus for reasons we apparently don't completely understand yet --- could it possibly be because human ear/brain and their perceptions are involved --- a components measurements often don't correlate with it's actual sound quality. That's a reality, deal with it, Richard.

But that reality doesn't mean ALL measurements are useless. Nor does it mean I believe ALL measurements are useless.
