I thought the article both interesting and informative, Tube Guy.
For the record, most people do not accurately understand why tubes tend not to generate higher order harmonics, but transistors do it fairly easily. It is because of the intrinsic change in transconductance with output current change, which is much worse with transistors than it is with tubes. Therefore, while tubes will generate 2'nd harmonic fairly easily, it is difficult to find 7th or 9th harmonic unless the tube is clipping, in a reasonably well designed SET (tube) amp.
