AJinFLA,I doubt I'd agree with Al's assessment of getting *better* sound from a digital solid state amplifier than my Mastersound. Most people who've heard digital amps seem to feel there's something lacking from the sound the way it produced via these types of amps. But as I've not personally listened to one I have no idea how they sound.
Unfortunately your extra-sensory abilities seem to be waning these days, for although you sensed a vintage TB54 blow up coming, it didn't occur.
You see AJinFLA unlike you I don't believe there's one true correct way to replicate music. That's why I'm able to tolerate POVs that are different from mine without your need to berate the person or disparage their choices in audio components. Hopefully one of these days you'll get that and be able to tolerate those who disagree with your way of thinking.
