That figure shows one form of slew-rate limiting (asymmetrical). Take a look at Fig. 3b also. See Fig. 4 (60kc) for symmetrical SR limiting. TIM will show similar waveforms but with TIM the overloaded stage is the feedback summing stage rather than the output stage.

Jung's Audio article shows squarewaves in various states of SR limiting. See his Jun 1979, Figs. 2 and 4.
