I suspect that you should go out to at least 30KHz. 100KHz would be better. See how difficult it is? The single pole rolloff is what sets the actual risetime of the squarewave. Without it, I can't be sure, without further study, what it takes to create the equivalent risetime just by truncating the harmonic series. I suspect that you will see some Gibbs phenomenon and an overshoot on the square wave.
