Re: test for transients

Hi,

One good thing about the test as is, the FFT itself shows only
the sqrt of the products of the absolute real and imaginary parts.
So it should accomodate phase shift somewhat. Also, I'm ignoring IM
(once the source waveform is tamed - shooting for less than
10 nanovolts of FFT gunk).

It may work. We can tweak it. I'll think about adding the small
ideal sine wave in like you did back in '77 and looking only at
it and its harmonics. Is that what you are favoring?
