Interesting theory. But do see my initial comment in this post. The person in the cocoon is usually the one that refuses to experiment. So far as I know, no one disputes gravity but there is a world of audiophiles that can and have heard differences in cables. If you'd care to leave your cocoon, you might end up being one of them. It's up to you.

Thanks for the quote. Since we're appealing to authority (if Mr Perlman is considered an authority) shall I quote you some dissenting opinions from Messrs Atkinson, Harley and Pearson?
