Sonos vs. Squeezebox Touch?

I'm interested in getting either the Sonos or Squeezebox Touch as a source for a second system (Audioengine N22 amp & P4 speakers) to be used for background listening. Primarily of Internet radio but also of my (AIFF) hard drive based collection.

I have several questions.

As I understand it, one does not need a computer on to listen to Internet Radio with either piece. Is this correct?

It seems that one can plug an external USB drive directly into the Touch without using a computer. Correct? Will the Touch then display the Itunes library if it is on the external drive?

Which is better in terms of ease of setup and use?

In terms of and reliability and support?

Which is better in terms of sound quality? Does Sonos pass through 24/96 as does the Touch?
(I may consider getting an external DAC, such as the new Schiit, at some point).

TIA,
Rob

PS: I don't care about having album artwork.
