Yes, I originally became interested in the idea of trying the MAC because Pure Music supports AU plugins.
A convolver is a software convolution engine that can apply FIR fiters (a type of digital filter) to digital audio as it is being played. DRC allows a person to create custom minimum phase digital filters that help alleviate listening room problems. There are very good convolvers for both Windows and Linux, but I can't find one for the MAC platform that has any stability. There are a couple of old ones kicking around, but they are unstable when applying large filters.
