This board uses threads as a means to provide context. CarcASS was responding to the OP with his CICS quote (perhaps he double-fubar'd and meant to respond to your post?).

That said, the OP clearly states that he's new to computer audio, so I'm pretty sure the OP is not familiar with all of the CICS specifics that you have since provided. While I do frequent this forum, I'm not a CICS disciple, so it was not obvious to me either.
