Thanks for your response! I had a look at your stereo configuration and saw that you had a sound card in your computer and that you used S/PDIF instead of USB. This may be a stupid question, but I would like to ask:
If I go for "conventional" computer as a drive (either a laptop or a normal PC), will I then need a dedicated sound card in the computer by any means, or is a sound card only necessary if I want to use a S/PDIF connection instead of USB (or are there more advantages to a sound card?)?
