RE: Kernel Streaming v Asio

Hi,

I agree with your findings when using my Lynx card and Foobar, except that I would describe the difference as "the ASIO output has more low end". I think this is another way of describing what you are saying, except depending on the rest of one's system the preference of one over the other might be different. I have always heard a clear difference between ASIO and KS with the Lynx and Foobar; no double blind test needed. However, I liked the sound of ASIO better, but for my configuration at the time it was much more manageable to use KS, so that's what I wound up using.
