Roon lifetime license is only around $800, which is pretty cheap in the Audio World.. You can't even get into the "DAC 'O' the Month Club for that.

With that said the only reason that I don't use Roon, is that you do not have the Control over your RPies that you get with PiCorePlayer. I've tried Roon a few times and wanted to like it and see why a lot of people do. I think it's worth every penny. I've donated to PcP more than a Life License of Roon Costs.
