I don't get the Hagibis hubs. Having the M.2 NVMe and SSD seems redundant and doesn't make much sense to me. If it used Thunderbolt, the M.2 NVMe might be worth while if you needed the speed. Otherwise, a bigger SSD is the only reasonable choice.

It's basically a fancy usb hub with a usb enclosure. You could buy one for $30, but the hub does have SD card reader, so it's a nice package. The SSD is just a SATA drive interface, so you can use any SSD for as much storage as you can afford. Actually, for music storage, a standard usb enclosure that takes either 2.5" or 3.5" is more flexible and you could buy 6 to 8TB spinner drive for less that $200, much less than a SSD for the same storage amount.
