Inaudible issues

The Marantz SA 10 SACD Player that Amir measured had some of those inaudible spikes.
And he said, as you mentioned, that that should have done a better job for the $ involved.
But maybe they improved other areas that Are audible instead.
I don't know, of course, but seems more than possible.
Not every measurement is as important as others I would guess.

Magazines only Rank Gear they have reviewed, so a lot of products never seem to get Reviewed and Listed.
But Reviewers hear much more Gear than I could ever hear, esp since there are so few Brick and Morter Stores in which to hear them anymore.
And no one retailer will carry everything one would want to hear.
Listening and evaluating take experience, lots of it.
There certainly seems to more expensive gear than reasonably priced stuff.
And if a Company has a $10,000 unit and a $500 or $1000 model in the same line,
you've got to wonder what you actually get for the cheaper price.
Buyer Beware, for sure, but I don't believe most Companies are just out to rip us off.
I think being a Debunker would be a grim way of Life!

RME says everyone hears differently.
So LOTS of choices are the way to go
