Home Computer Audio Asylum

Music servers and other computer based digital audio technologies.

That's my plan!:-)...

I have a ton of ripped and purchased FLAC files that I currently play on a PC based system. By connecting that PC to my home Wifi network, I am hoping to set it up as a source to stream with the new "puck" connection to my main audio system. The PC also has Amazon HD. My Android phone ALSO has Amazon HD...so I will have, I guess, two ways to connect to the puck (PC or Android Phone).

The only question I will have left is, "How does the Wifi puck sound?" when feeding (RCA analog out) to a tube pre-amp, Bryston amp, panel speaker setup? I don't really see any bandwidth restrictions with the Wiim puck recommended by Kal using Wifi (supposedly there is a recent patch to get the puck to at least 24/96), so I am cautiously optimistic that this really may be all that I will need for some time (as a now-and-then supplement).
