OK, the beginning of the Review Process, that is.
First of all, I'm really enjoying this Dac.
In fact, I'm surprised at just how much I like it.
I listened to some different USB Cables and also have a Jitterbug and Wyred for Sound
powered USB Box.
I can hear differences but need to establish a Baseline,
so I'm using the Pro Audio USB Cable that came with the RME.
Miska at HQ Player doesn't like After Market Digital Cables, says they may not meet all
Speed specifications.
So I'm going Stock until I get to know the sound with the RME.
I want to review the Dac, not the Cables or Boxes.
My first new Source in 7 years!
More next week.
I have 30 days to return it, don't think that's going to happen.
