Buy some spares....

I've got several Squeezebox Touches scattered around along with a spare or two. The cost had been fairly high when they stopped making them, but the last one I got on eBay was fairly cheap. Contrary to others, I find the Touch connected to a DAC to be just fine for me. Maybe I'm not picky enough, but I also think the Touch RCA outs are plenty fine for use in the garage, shop or a bedroom.

You can also move toward the RPi4 and a USB DAC. I run that on my main system, but I also like the Touch because you can easily control it and other people can as well without needing a phone app installed.

LMS continues to be updated and it works.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
