I'm an adamant believer in backups, but you take the concept to a different level. :)
I keep two copies of CCC and refresh them only periodically when there are OS updates. One mirrored NAS is fine for me which backs up nightly to an external USB drive. It's an older lower capacity drive so it doesn't cover the largely static video content which is the lion's share of usage anyway.
I also keep four offline copies, one of which stays offsite while the others live in a fire resistant gun safe. And I have a backup pair of drives for the NAS.
