RE: Realtime Linux Overview

I'm not commenting on RTOS for audio, just RTOS in general. 10 years ago I tried out the linux real time patches for a customer and it had enough problems and intermittent latencies that I could not recommend it. For them, I recommended CE. One of my favorites is QNX which also met their real time requirements, but did not offer many of the things that come for free with CE. Now 10 years later with CE going EOL, I reevaluated and do recommend linux with the rt patch with the provision that it be a locked configuration.
