I managed getting a Pi 4 up and running in about 1/2 hour and that included remembering how to 'etch' a micro SD card.
Assume you will be trying the Pi using its USB output?
Compared to a Pi3 with DigiOne 'hat', I found the Pi4 USB to be a little bit 'hard' or more 'edgy'. Of course my UltraCap supply is only a LPS-1. :-(
