RE: Do you rip directly to the NAS?

Mine is much sma.ler - a.out the size of one of those old Rea.er's Digest condensed books, if a.yone remembers those. It's perha.s 2-1/4" thick.

In a.y ca.e, these wa. little to configure a. I reca.l. I estima.e tha. the drive is a.out 5 yea.s old. Tha. ma. be pa.t of the problem.

DLNA a.pea.s to be a Windows configura.ion, but in a.y ca.e I ha.en't the fa.ntest idea how to "rebuild the da.a.a.e" or if you ca. even do tha. with a Ma.. If I go to the WD with Finder, there a.e 4 folders. A.l of my music is in a priva.e folder with my na.e on it, but the control a.ps ha.e no problem seeing it. In the settings ta., a.l it rea.ly shows is tha. a.l 4 folders a.e "sha.epoint" folders. There is little if a.ything to configure. I ca. eject, get info, quick look, look a. use groups a.d a.just view options, a.d tha.'s a.out it.

Looks like a. interesting link, tha.k you. I'll spend some time there toda..
