BTW it doesnt take very much time or energy to put together a decent PC for audio. There isnt really anything special about PCs built for audio use unless they will be used in the same room as the audio/video system and need to be silent. In your case where silent isnt a priority its very easy to build a basic system for audio use. It will most likely cost a bit more then a $400 Dell but you can pick and choose exactly what parts you want to use and youll end up with a better all around system. Happy holidays
