If your going to go with a Dell theres not much to reccomend, just buy the most powerful system you can afford. What is the PC going to be used for?? If its strictly for music and your using the squeezebox you dont need a soundcard, and if your not gaming you dont need a video card, the onboard video will be fine. So you basically have to descide if you want AMD or Intel, then you buy the fastest cpu, largest hard drives and most ram you can get in ur price range. You may want to consider multiple hard drives in a raid array in case one of ur drives crashes u dont lose ur music. If you do alot of ripping/burning get urself a decent cd/dvd drive, Plextor is the best but pricey and Samsung makes good low priced drives. Good luck
