Multiple Functions with RPi or Sparky?

I'm a noob to the computer audio realm. I like to build a device that could handle multiple functions. I've been going over threads here for the past couple weeks but my confusion continues.

Can I build a device based on RPi or Sparky that has all of the following:

streaming capability
storage for ripped CDs
TOSLINK input
DAC

Basically, I want to build an all-in-one digital player. Steaming, plus stored music, plus the ability to receive TOSLINK from my TV.

Is it possible or do I need to build multiple units?
