1. Yes. Already have hdmi_blanking=2. Is there more to be done?
2. Only issue is need to use Wordpad instead of Notepad
3. Underclocking as The Faerie Wizard suggested to extend battery life. No instability since the summer when I made that change.
4. That worked. Have putty on work laptop, but haven't used it until now.
