I removed the current version of LMS from the NAS and attempted to reload LMSRepack (package center/settings/package sources). The screen replies with a rotating ICON that says "saving". Eventually it says "save failed, please try again later".
Also I can't access http://server.pinkdot.nl/sspks/ from my browser, it times out. WTF
Edit: I was able to download LMS 7.9.1-166 from the Synology web site and install it manually.
