I want LMS on the NAS because I have several RPI's and a squeezebox throught the house and I don't want to have multiple instances of LMS to maintain and upgrade.
I tried the link the you provided but it would not save the LMSRepack. But then I found LMS in the "Multimedia" section of Package Center and installed it. PCP at first did not find LMS and LMS did not "see" PCP but that was because I put the wrong IP address into PCP for the NAS. Once I took it out and let PCP find LMS by itself all is good.

You're right, leaning to use this thing optimally (eg for backups, etc) is going to be a learning experience but I'll just take my time a stumble along.
