Newegg has reduced the price of the DS116 to 149 from 179 becasue there's a DS118 coming. I jumped on it and got one.I have transferred all my music files to the "music" folder on the NAS and they play just fine using Foobar.
So how do I run LMS on the NAS, just load the program onto the root directory of the NAS?
I looked on the Synology web site and there's no help there and the LMS Wiki is full of confusing acronyms.
Also is the synology music server app of any use? I haven't read all the help files yet
